Visit to Chambok Day #2

Visit to Chambok Day #1

Lena, Bella, and I visited Chambok Ecotourism Site in Kampong Speu Province on January 12th and 13th. Here is a link to learn more about Chambok: https://chambok.org/

  • We hiked four hours to see two beautiful waterfalls
  • We ate lots of white rice and bananas!
  • We stayed the night in home 49 with a very nice family
  • We watched the village children perform a Blessing Dance and a Flower Dance at night
  • We biked around the local villages and learned how to make rice noodles and rice wine
  • We learned about irrigating the crops of vegetables during Cambodia’s dry season (November – May)
  • We made bracelets out of bamboo!
