Battambang Province

The other volunteers and I visited the community of Sisters in Battambang Province from October 14th to October 16th. While in Battambang, we went to Phnom Sampeau – “killing caves,” a bat cave, Wat Banan, the parish in Tehan, and a hospital.

Saying Goodbye

The last couple of days before I left for Cambodia were difficult . I said goodbye to some of my closest friends, my mom’s cooking, and my family. However, I left the United States feeling at peace because I knew I was supported in my mission by my friends, my family, and the entire Salesian community.

Mark, SDB (the director of the Salesian Mission Office)! I am so blessed to have met all of these wonderful people. The other SLMs are serving in the United States of America, Bolivia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Africa, Zambia, and Vietnam. Please keep all of us in your prayers!
